Plectrum™ | v1.2 update

January 2008

Two issues have been addressed for this update:

1. A new build of the GVI engine version 3.63 is included, which fixes a case where some DAW's couldn't distinguish multiple Tascam GVI-powered instruments installed in the same machine.
2. In Metals, some "Mbira D" regions pointed to a bad sound file.

The procedure is very simple:

1. Download the .zip file here.
2. Unzip and see the directory "Plectrum 1.2 downloadpatch"
3. Open the directory and double-click on the setup program "Plectrum Patch Release 1.2."
4. Review the on-screen information, and click on "Apply Patch."
5. Watch the file progress, then click "Finish" at the end.
6. Run Plectrum.  The version number of the engine can be seen by clicking on the Plectrum icon in the upper-left of the Plectrum Screen.  The first line will now read: GVI Engine Version 3.63.3.78901.
